Diagnosis interface (Wi-Fi)
The diagnosis interface is required for vehicle diagnostics and can be used together with the “Offboard Diagnostic Information System service” and the “Offboard Diagnostic Information System engineering”. The further developed diagnosis interface performs diagnosis functions on modern vehicles at full CAN bus FD speed. Additionally, the Wi-Fi range and roaming times have been significantly improved. If it is not possible to establish a Wi-Fi connection, the USB module is used and ensures reliable, wired data transmission to the diagnosis device. Configuration is performed conveniently using a web-based user interface.

The USB module has a rugged USB connector with nine pins, rather than seven. It can therefore be directly connected to the VAS 6150F, meaning that it is no longer necessary to use the VAS 652 009 adapter with the VAS 6154B. To connect old laptops – VAS 6150E or older – the VAS 652 011 adapter must be used.
